Management plans and nature conservation assessments

Pro Natura has extensive experience in preparing management plans for a wide range of habitats. Our management plans have included all terrestrial habitats and species’ compositions. Many of our management plans follow traditional guidelines while others are more pioneering, and we have introduced new management ideas from other parts of Europe.

Over the years, we have produced hundreds of management plans for protected areas across the country – and beyond.

We carry out assessments prior to the creation of nature reserves, where nature conservation values and habitat classification according to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency’s methodology are important tools that we work with.
