Thomas Appelqvist

Thomas is a conservation biologist and species specialist who works primarily with targeted species surveys, Biodiversity Assessments (NVI) according to the Swedish Standard and courses. Thomas has worked with nature conservation and management since the 1970s. He has extensive knowledge and experience within terrestrial nature conservation, but has expertise in the rural landscape, broadleaved woodlands, and with beetles and wasps. He is also a very experienced teacher from Göteborg University and has a PhD in wood-decay fungi associated with spruce.
